Mrs. Doris V. Laufer, 64, of Longview, died in a local hospital on Nov. 21, 1974. She was born Aug 6, 1910 in Beresford, S.D., and had been a resident of this area since 1933. She had been employed at Paris Cleaners as a seamstress, and was a member of the St. Rose Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Raymond of Longview; two brothers, Walter Stiles of St. Petersburg, Fla., and William Stiles, Jr., of Longview; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Wise of Longview and Mrs. Marjorie Strand of Regent, N.D.; four grandchildren. Rosary will be said Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Rose Catholic Church. Mass will be read Monday at 11 a.m. at the St. Rose Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Wojtowick officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at the Longview Memorial Park. The Steele Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
