Age 72, died Saturday at the Marinette General Hospital, Marinette. The former Martha Joosten was born October 16, 1910, in Little Chute. She married Edward C. Bastian in Brillion July 15, 1930. He preceded her in death January 5, 1980. Survivors include three sons: Robert, Wausaukee; Howard, Little Suamico; Norman, Brillion; two daughters: Mrs. Beverly Minslaff, Naperville, Illinois; Mrs. Doris Davidson, New Berlin; two brothers: Richard and Stanley Joosten, Appleton; two sisters: Mrs. Rosella Jurek, Menominee, Michigan; Mrs. Jeanne Haese, Greenleaf; and 16 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home, Peshtigo, with the Rev. Peter Markey officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Marinette. Friends may call Monday at the funeral home from 6 until 9 p.m. and until the time of the service Tuesday.
