GARVEY, Bernita M. (Age 77) Passed away on November 16, 2009 in Spokane, Washington. She was born and raised in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She married Edward Cuzzetto and moved to Spokane where she resided for the remainder of her life. She was a generous, warm loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all. Bernita had a passion for people and enjoyed Gonzaga Basketball, singing, painting and all things Irish. Bernita always had a great story to tell. Bernita is survived by her six children, Carlyn (Lloyd) Jozwiak, Susan (John) Knight, Kevin (Moon) Cuzzetto, Gerene Brewer, Laura (Pat) Boyle, Bernadette (Douglass) Townsend; one brother, Rev. Roderick Garvey CSsR; and four sisters, Colleen Chase, Frances Hagen, Rita Fitzpatrick and Mary MacFarland. She was preceded in death by her son Eddie Cuzzetto, daughter Mary Margaret Cuzzetto; one brother, William Garvey; two sisters, Joan Steele and Sister Kathleen Garvey. She will also be greatly missed by her 16 grand children; Randee (Michael) Sims, Ricci (Jared) Roberts, Jeremiah and David (Amanda) Knight, Sarahanne, Gerene, Andrew, Thomas, Sophia, and Emily Townsend, Conner Boyle, Brianne, Rachelle and Robert Brewer, Richard and John Jozwiak; 6 great grand children, Keegan, Kyler, Maddie, Andrew, Ryan and Kaitlyn; and pets Isaiah and Gracie. A special Thank You to her parish priest, Father Mike for all his kindness and support. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday November 23, 2009 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 919 E.
