Amelia married 1) George Riley Loop (1843-1874) of Missouri on Nov. 24, 1867, in Henderson County, TX. George was the son of John Loop (1811-1855) & Margaret Rebecca Spohr Loop (1807-1853), both of Virginia. These parents died in Henderson County, TX. George died in Chatfield, Navarro County, TX, where he and Amelia were living in the 1870 census. George's grave is unknown, but he is probably buried in the Old Chatfield Cemetery, Navarro County, TX, with other Loop family members.
Four children:
• Lucian Lloyd Loop (1869-1949)
• Letha Loop McLendon (1871-1906)
• Mary Jane Loop Kinser (1872-1958)
• Georgia Ann Loop Mullins (1874-1940)
Amelia married 2) James Polk Todd of Missouri about 1875, and they divorced before 1900.

• Lucretia Bell Todd Stewart (1876-1928)
• Melissa Todd (1877-after 1900)
• Green P. Todd (1880-1958; #35418909)
