Anthony's first marriage was to (the exact name is unknown) Ethelbert/Elizabeth Lucinda Borell/Boreu/Borum/Boren. She was listed in the 1860 & 1870 census with Anthony. It is presumed she died between 1870 - 1878. She was originally from Virginia.

His second marriage was to Eliza Jane Johnston on February 19, 1878 in DeKalb County, Indiana.

Mr. Foust was known for his famous "see-saw" horse named "Bill", that he raced often at the Fort Wayne (Allen County) Fair.

Obituary:

The death of Anthony Foust occurred Sunday morning at 5 o'clock at his home near Hurshtown, death being due to paralysis. Funeral will be Wednesday afternoon.
