Mrs. Sherman (Norene) Campbell, a resident of Hugo, died here Thursday. She was 78.
A homemaker by occupation, she was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Campbell was born January 28, 1909 in Hugo and had been a resident of this community all of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Campbell, on April 14, 1978.
Survivors included two sons, six daughters, one sister, one sister-in-law, 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in the Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dempsey Cosper officiated. Burial was in the Mount Olivet cemetery.
The Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home of Hugo was in charge of arrangements.
