She was born Feb. 13, 1929, in Madoc, Mont., to Hazel and Elias LaRoche. She graduated from Flaxville High School and attended MSU in Bozeman.
She married Raymond Padgett in 1954 in Flaxville, Mont., and moved to the Padgett homestead in 1957 where they lived and raised three daughters. They moved to Billings in 2003.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond, of 59 years; three daughters, Renee Bulatowicz, Donita Cantrell and Marcella Cantin, three grandchildren and numerous extended family.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday March 23, at Opheim Lutheran Church in Opheim, Mont.
Interment will be at Lawndale Cemetery in Opheim.
