Isaac was the son of Abel Morley and Susannah Kilbourne.

The farmer Isaac Morley married Hannah Miller on 8 May 1755 in Springfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts. They named their children: Hannh, Esther, Dorcas, Sebeah, Isaac, Asahel and Sibel Morley.

Isaac served in the military during the Colonial French and Indian war.

After his wife Hannah died in 1797 some records suggest he married a second time to a women named Ruth.
