Tracy Aleisha Piercy Taylor, 40, of Midland City passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 in Montgomery, AL.

Graveside services will be 3 pm Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Sunset Memorial Park Pavilion with Rev. Andy Wood officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Tracy "Pooh Bear" was born March 4, 1973 in Troy, AL and resided in Ozark and moved to Midland City in 1998. She was employed with Globe Motors for 18 years. She enjoyed crafting, fishing, spending time with her canine companion "Sweet Pea" and was an avid gardener. Tracy was preceded in death by her uncle Lanny Blunt, an aunt Glenda Whitaker, and her grandmother Frances Piercy.

Survivors include her parents, Lana and Grady Piercy of Ozark; her brother Jody Lee Piercy of Ft. Bragg, NC; her sisters, Bridget (Richard) Williamson of Ozark, Gidget (Larry) Sellers of Ozark; her grandmother Annie Boggess of Tallahassee, FL; nieces and nephews, Christine Mathis, Brittany Reid, Brandon Michael Weaver, Brandon Lamar Brogdon, and Amber Brogdon; a great nephew Gaberial Mathis; her aunts, Sonja Santana and Kathey Rosichan; her uncle Mike Boggess; her god-child Dylan Mike; a special friend Monique Gilmore.
