Myron Applegate was the son of Glen E. Applegate and Pauline Deverick Applegate. He married Barbara J. Biggs on June 28, 1958.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Terri Flynn, one son, Rick Applegate, his mother, Pauline Applegate, one sister, Myrna Davis,one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
He was the owner of Applegate TV and Appliance in Casey, Illinois before his retirement. He was a member of the Casey Masonic Lodge and a 45-year member of the Casey Moose Lodge. He belonged to the Danville Consistory and Clark County Shrine Club where he was a member of the 10-70 Motor Patrol.
He was preceded in death by his father and two sons, Randy and Rodney Applegate.
