Funeral Mass for Brittney Shannon Gallagher, 21, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Brittney passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013.
She was born June 10, 1991, in Euclid.
Her smile would light up a room, her eyes sparkled with kindness, her voice was that of an angel, and her heart was full of love for everyone she knew. She loved her family and friends, and lived her life with complete joy. "We will miss our sweet Brittney every day."
She was the loving daughter of Neil J. and Mariann (nee Blanchette) Gallagher; dear sister of Jacqueline M. Gallagher, Kelly F. Gallagher and Neil J. Gallagher Jr.; and cherished granddaughter of Lorraine (nee Rouskie) Blanchette. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Neil and Nancy (nee McGarry) Gallagher and Francis Blanchette.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St., (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a scholarship fund in Brittney's name at All Saints School. Checks can be made payable to the All Saints Endowment Fund, c/o Brittney Gallagher Scholarship.
