She was the daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte (Bunty) Overbaugh.
Mrs. Colgan was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in McSherrystown. She was a member of Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church in McSherrystown, and a member of Share the Word Prayer Group.
She was the wife of Hugh F. Colgan, who departed this life November 17, 1996, and is survived by two daughters, Kay Lough of New Oxford and Vivian Camp of Elk Grove, CA; four sons, Tom Colgan of Irishtown, Bob Colgan of Edgegrove, Hugh Colgan of Gettysburg and Phil Colgan of McSherrystown; 15 grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and a sister, Letty Ostendorf of York.
