Larry Dexter Crone, 47, of Otto, NC, entered into rest on Monday, May 23, 2005.

A native of Rabun County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Ferd Crone and Burel Dixon Crone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Elzia. Larry worked at Walmart in Clayton, GA as a stocker. He attended Mulberry Methodist Church

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Castle Crone; three children, Brandon Crone of Otto, Christy Hamilton of Clarksville, GA and Michelle Beckwith of Montgomery, AL; three brothers, Donald Lee Crone of Hayesville, NC and Harold Crone and Dave Crone both of Clayton, GA; three sisters, Cathy Thompson of Clayton, GA, Diane Blankenship and Linda Lovett, both of Hayesville, NC; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 26, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Alton Dendy and Rev. Jimmy Galloway will officiate. Burial will be in the Howard Bradley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Castle, Erwin Free, Tommy Shook, Dexter Shook, Andy Blankenship and Sam Waldroop.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
