Frederick Post - April 3, 1937

Mrs. Emma M. Fox, wife of Lawrence Fox, died at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene A. Ruthvin, at Lime Kiln, at one o'clock Friday morning of tuberculosis. She was aged 47 years, three months, and 28 days. She was the daughter of Daniel R. and Olive Louise Morningstar of Montgomery County.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Fox is survived by her mother, one daughter, Mrs. Harold Lydard of Doubs, five grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers; Mrs. Ruthvin, Harry H. Morningstar, Frederick Junction; Mrs. Earl Norwood, Middletown; Mrs. Walter Hamel, Baltimore; Marshall C. Morningstar, Dickerson; Paul Morningstar, Urbana, and Mrs. William Grove, Frederick.

Mrs. Fox was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.

The body is now resting at the funeral home, 8 East Patrick Street, and will be removed to the home of her sister, Mrs. Ruthvin, at Lime Kiln, this morning where friends may call. Funeral services will be held there Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment will follow in the Monocacy Cemetery at Beallsville. C. E. Cline and Son, funeral directors.
