He worked for many years as a truck driver for Reading Anthracite Co.
He was a member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, Shenandoah.
He was an Army veteran having served in World War II.
George enjoyed fishing, especially at the Pumpy, and was an avid lottery player.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Paruch; and a sister, Dorothy Paruch.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Theresa Dragnosky Paruch; a daughter, Diane Paruch, at home; a brother, John Paruch, Shenandoah; a sister, Clara Yanushefski, Plains; a nephew, Matthew Yanushefski; a niece, Denise Dubis; and a great-niece, Victoria Dubis.
