WING, Billie Beatrice — Age 60, of Winston, Oregon, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2005. She was born on November 18, 1944, in McAlester, Oklahoma, the daughter of Bill and Bea (Carruth) Battles. Her family moved to Camas Valley, Oregon, when she was two years old. She was raised and educated in Camas Valley and graduated from there in 1963. She met the love of her life, Derrel Wing in 1983 and they were united in marriage in 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Billie worked for thirty-three years at Roseburg Forest Products. She loved to spend time with her family, fish, travel, and she also loved being raised in Camas Valley. She is survived by her husband, Derrel of Winston; two children, Rick Neilsen and his wife, Marion of Schwabisch Gmund, Germany, and Deanna Roth of Bend, Oregon; two grandchildren, Jeremy Neilsen of Winston and Hunter Roth of Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents. Billie will be deeply missed by all that new and loved her. There was a graveside service held on Thursday, March 24, 2005, at the Noah Cemetery in Camas Valley. Officiating will be Pastor Travis Hunt. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor’s Family Chapel.
