Town of Franklin Man Will Be Buried On Thursday
Joseph A. Meyer, 57, died at his home in the Town of Franklin at 7:30 this morning as a result of a tumor of the brain. Funeral services will be held at St. Michael's Church at Whitelaw on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Robert T. Pufahl will officiate.
Mr. Meyer was born in the Town of Franklin on November 4, 1877. He came to his last place of residence 34 years ago. His life's occupation was farming. On May 1, 1901, he married Clara Vogel.
Survivors are the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Tomchek, Milwaukee, Mrs. Carl Linder, Evanston, Ill., Carolina, Monica and Alice Meyer, at home; seven sons, Martin, Edmund, Herman, Marcus,
Richard, Arthur and Walter Meyer, at home; four brothers, Wolfgang Meyer, Whitelaw, Frank and John Meyer, Franklin, Louis Meyer, Kaukauna; four sisters; Mrs. M. Meidl, Mrs. I. Grall, Mrs. J. Mendlick, and Mrs. J. Heinzen, Whitelaw.
Mr. Meyer was a member of the St. Steven's Society and a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
