BLOUNTVILLE - Reba Evelyn (Sims) Long, 67, joined the angels on Wednesday (July 18, 2007) at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Reba was a member of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church. She enjoyed building her new home with her husband of 50 years. She was owner of Long's Construction and retired from Miller Perry Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her father, Garnett Sims and a granddaughter, Sarah Isenberg.

She is survived by her husband, Monroe Long Sr.; her children David and Gina Long, Gloria Isenberg, Linda and Chris Lefler, Albert and Karen Long; her mother, Marie Sims; her grandchildren, Jonas and Becca Lefler, Matthew Isenberg, Haley Isenberg, Emily Long, Ethan Long, Lauren Lefler and Andrew Long; one great grandson, Dyllan Lefler; sisters Linda Manis, Mildred Quesenbery, Sylvia Wockery; brothers, Vernon Sims, Wilburn Sims and Willis Sims and special brother and sister-in-laws.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home.

Services will be on Friday 8 p.m. in East Lawn Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Gene Lasley officiating.

Graveside services will be on Saturday 11 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park where family and friends will assemble at the funeral home by 10:45 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Wilburn Sims, Willis Sims, Chris Lefler, Jonas Lefler, Matthew Isenberg and Ethan Long.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
