Melissa "Missy" Horn-Opper, 40, of Carey, died on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at St. Rita's Hospital, Lima. She was born on July 10, 1969, in Dayton, OH, to Delson and Hazel (Burton) Horn. She married Timothy Opper of Wharton and they were divorced. She is survived by her father, of Wharton; her mother, of Forest; a son, Joshua Opper of Wharton; a daughter, MaryAnn Paige of Wharton; brothers: Faron (Janie) Shaw of Zanesville, Timothy Shaw of Forest, Jay Shaw of Findlay and Brian Horn of Kenton; a sister, Tonya Horn of Wharton; a grandson, Kaden Opper; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Shane Opper. Missy was a 1987 graduate of Riverdale High School and will forever be loved by everyone who new her and for her outgoing personality, blue eyes and infectious smile.
