Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Hulett-Winstead Chapel for Mr. Roger L. "Punk" Ball, 76, of Petal.

He died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his residence.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mr. Ball was a retired home builder, a life long resident of Petal and member of Petal United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aden and Minnie Patrick Ball; two brothers, Olen and James Ball; and a grandson, Richard Brandon Lyles.

He is survived by two sons, Tony Ball (Leila) and Mickey Ball both of Petal; two daughters, Lindy Brewer (Ray) and Judy Lyles both of Petal; three sisters Zelene Burch of Petal, Verna Cook of Sardis, and Carolyn Merrill of New Augusta; a brother, Aubrey Ball of Pensacola, FL; nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Petal United Methodist Church, 418 S. Main St., Petal, MS 39465.

Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM Wednesday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home.
