A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Willie A. Tate and Myrtle Rhodes Tate.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Matthews FBH Church, Gastonia.
Burial will be at Kelly's Chapel Cemetery.
