MATTHEWS YADKINVILLE Heather Danyale Matthews Nov. 27, 1988 - March 17, 2013 Ms Heather Danyale Matthews, 24, of Hollow Trail Road passed away peacefully Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Brenner's Children's Hospital at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born November 27, 1988 in Forsyth County. Heather was attached to and loved pencils, Diet Coke, and watching her movies. She enjoyed music and loved listening to the Black Eyed Peas and Buck Cherry. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ricky Dale Matthews, Adam Dean Matthews; and by her grandparents, Gentry Dolinger, Albert "Pete" Matthews, Bertha Matthews, John Kent, and Jim Saunders. Surviving are her parents, Rick and Sue Dolinger Matthews, of the home; two brothers, Tony Miller, of the home; Martin (Crystal) Miller, Roaring River; sisters, Mindy (Chris) Matthews, of the home; Cindy (Mitch) Matthews, Courtney; Sandy Matthews, of the home; Elizabeth (Caleb) Ozbirn, Mississippi; grandparents, Betty Dolinger, Hamptonville; Mary Kent, Paula Saunders; and several special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Yadkinville. Her funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. David Bumgardner. Burial will follow in the Yadkinville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
