Dorothy Ann Boles was born May 12, 1886 (1866) in Clay County, Illinois and died at Texhoma, Feb. 11, 1938 at the age of 71 years, 8 months. She was married to John W Zortman in 1888(more likely 1892) (John married Dorothy's Sister in 1888, She died in Feb. 1992) . They moved to Texas county in 1924 from Benton County, Arkansas and she has lived here since then. Her husband preceded her in death six years ago, Mrs. Zortman is survived by one brother, Hugh Boles of Illinois and one (step) son, Jim Zortman, and his family, also many friends in and near Texhoma. Funeral services were held in the local Baptist Church Sunday afternoon with Rev. R. D. Dodd of Goodwell delivering the funeral sermon. Interment was made in Texhoma Cemetery, with the Dawson Funeral Home in charge.
