Cliff was a MSGT in the United States Air Force serving his country during WWII and Korea. He was married to his wife Margaret McFadyen and had no children. His wife is like an aunt to me, she loved Cliff dearly and never remarried after his passing.
I wasn't even two when Cliff died. My mom said Peggy and Cliff had just got home from Lancaster, PA visiting Amish Country. It was 4th of July weekend and everyone was enjoying the outdoors. Cliff died that weekend. There are pictures of me playing in their yard only hours before he would be gone. I was so young I don't remember Cliff, but his wife Peg and my mom would always tell me what a wonderful guy he was. Rest well Cliff.
