Dennis M. Blevins, 19, a graduate of Harbor High School in 1974, died Saturday in Santa Cruz.


A native of this county, Blevins attended Good Shepherd School before high school and then went on to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. He was a member of Star of Sea Catholic Church.


A vigil will be held tonight at 7:30 at Star of Sea Church, 515 Frederick St. A mass of the resurrection will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Star of Sea Church and interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.


Survivors include his parents, Ernie and Jean Blevins; two brothers, Richard Blevins and David Blevins; two sisters, Debi Blevins and Toni Blevins, all of Santa Cruz; paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and several uncles and aunts.


Contributions are preferred to the Dennis Blevins Memorial Fund, care of County Bank of Santa Cruz, to furnish one room in Halloran Hall, a local home for adolescents to be completed in 1976.
