Mr. Demarco was born Dec. 23, 1921, in Sharon to Guiseppe and Rosaria De Ronzza Demarco.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Corps.
He worked for the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. and retired as a maintenance foreman for Sharon Tube in 1983.
Thomas married the former Evelyn Van Gordor, who passed away in 1991.
Thomas was very mechanical-minded and always liked helping his loved ones. He also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, reading and playing the organ.
Thomas is survived by: his daughter, Sandi L. and her husband Frank Prezgay, Las Vegas; his son, Glenn M. Miller, Pittsburgh; three sisters, Helen Buckley, Hermitage; Janet Mirto, Brooksville, Fla.; and Beatrice Moran, Cortland; his brother, James Yannesse, Sharon; and four grandsons, Brian Prezgay, Dale Prezgay, Christian Prezgay and Matt Miller.
He was preceded in death by his father, Guiseppe Demarco; his mother, Rosaria Demarco; his sister, Josephine Mirto; and his brothers, Frank Demarco and Dominic Demarco.
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
