**My Great-Aunt**

Delaney, Barbara Ann – Truro and formerly of Brookfield. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, who has gone to Heaven. Born in Green Oak in 1935, she was a daughter of the late Nelson "Dick" and Elma (Burris) (Henderson) Collins. Dancing and music were a huge part of mom's life. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart. Mom was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a kind, gentle and loving woman who will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her son Randy (Marilyn) of St. John's NF; daughters, Darlene Stone (Robert) of Debert, Freda Maria Harnett (John) of London, ON; grandchildren, Carrie of Calgary, Falan and Julie both of Debert, Christine of New Jersey; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Fern Bates of Green Creek, Karen Beers (Walter) of Bass River, NB, Frances Carter (Stanley) of Camden; step-father Ralph Henderson of Camden; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerald (Jerry); grandson Lucas Stone; brothers, Floyd Collins, Brent Henderson.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 19th from 7-9 and funeral service March 20th, at 2 pm, all in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Rev. Larry Harrison will officiate with a reception to follow. Burial will take place at a later date in Brookfield Westside Cemetery, Brookfield.
