Gladys Regina (Orsak) McCoy, 73, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at her residence in Fayetteville.

Gladys was born in Fayetteville, Texas on April 28, 1939, the daughter of the late Joe F. Orsak and Mary (Shimek) Orsak. She married Sam McCoy in 1965 in Houston, Texas.

Gladys worked as a cafeteria worker for 17 years at Fayetteville and La Grange ISD. Gladys was a devoted mother and grandmother making sure her family was always taken care of.

She is survived by one son, Douglas McCoy and wife, Melody, of Fayetteville, Texas; three sisters: Irma Kovar and Loretta Naumann both of Fayetteville, Texas and Madlin Petrosky of Columbus, Texas; one brother, Dennis Orsak and wife, Dorothy, of Fayetteville, Texas; two grandchildren: Jason McCoy and wife, Charlene, and Josh McCoy all of Fayetteville; three great grandchildren: Jason McCoy II, Brooke McCoy and Justin McCoy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sam McCoy; four sisters: Alice King, Emily Key, Marian Tschatschula and Doris Smith; two brothers: Joe and Albert Orsak.

Visitation will be held at Friday March 22, 2013, 12:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Koenig and Strickland Knesek Chapel. Burial will be Saturday March 23, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
