Born in Lynn, MA., she was the daughter of the late Herbert & Alice (Gaudette)Colby. Resident of Beverly for most of her life. She worked for many years as a waitress at Brigham's Restaurant at the North Shore Mall and at the Commodore Restaurant in Beverly.
Member of St.Margaret's Church in Beverly Farms.
Survivors: her husband, sons John A. of Colorado and Richard G. of Gloucester; daughters, Ann M. Marquis of Hamilton and Ruth A. Ambrifi of Salem; sisters, Pauline Amatucci of Ipswich, and Frances Marquis and Gladys Morini of Salem.
Funeral Tuesday morning from David H. Gonet Funeral Home, with a funeral Mass at St. Margaret's. Burial in Beverly Farms Cemetery.
