HINTON - Randy Allen Yancey, 36, of Hinton died April 19, 1997, in Rupert
after a short illness.

He was a former employee of Cargo Oil Co., Hinton, and was a carpenter.
He attended Jumping Branch Gospel Tabernacle and was a lifelong resident
of Hinton.

Surviving: wife, Barbara Newcomb Yancey of Lynchburg, Va.; daughters, Amanda
Yancey, Anna Lee Yancey, Randi Yancey, all of Lynchburg; stepson, Bill
Yancey of Lynchburg; stepdaughter, Crystal Yancey of Lynchburg; father,
James Yancey of Beckley; mother, Wanda Jane Cook Yancey of Hinton; sisters,
Audrey Adkins of Pipestem, Kathy Meadows of Bellepoint; half brothers,
Jaime Yancey and Charlie Yancey, both of Washington, Patrick Yancey of
Beckley; half sister, Rita Hatcher of Beckley; one granddaughter; several
nieces and nephews.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel,
Hinton, with Pastor Elmo Alderman officiating. Burial will be in Fall Rock
Cemetery, near Nimitz. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral
parlor.
