Mr. Truman Carl Durbin, 91, of South Bend, Ind., passed away on Saturday morning, Nov. 14, at Regency Place Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Durbin was born on March 5, 1907, in Newtown, Mo., and has lived in the South Bend area since 1995. Mr. Durbin was retired from Milk Producers Marketing Co-op in Lawrence, Kan., and is a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
On June 21, 1942, Mr. Durbin married Gladys Lorraine Stout, who passed away on May 6, 1997.
He is survived by two daughters, Harriet Baldwin of South Bend and Catherine Speight of Chapel Oaks, Md.; a son, William R. Durbin of St. Louis, Mo.; four granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; and by three brothers, Charles L. Durbin of Raytown, Mo., Forest H. Durbin of Napa, Calif., and Earl M. Durbin of Ashland, Neb.
