Beatrice D. Adams, 89, formerly of Grant Street, Lake Geneva, passed away Monday, Jan 12, 2004, at the Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Elkhorn.
Beatrice was born Aug 21, 1914, in Montreal, Canada, the daughter of Edward W. and Mary Hughes Smith.
She was united in marriage to John Adams in 1937, in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death Nov 4, 1996.
She was a lifelong area resident and a member of Lakeside Baptist Church, Lake Geneva.
Surviving are four daughters, Doris (Robert) Hagen, Dayton, OH, Katherine (James) Skinner, Longwood, FL, Mary (Wilbur) Kuecker, Burlington, and Carol (Mark) Hamm, Lake Geneva; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Dorothy Johnson and Jean Ortega; one sister; and one brother.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan 14, at Roselawn Memory Gardens, Delavan Township.
