1928-2006

Gerald Edwin Hamilton,77,Clearmont,died July 19,2006 at his home in Clearmont.
He was born Nov.21,1928 at Elmo,to James Thomas and Eva Beatrice Johnson Hamilton.
He served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict in 1951-1952 and with the Army Reserves following the active duty.He was a member of Rolla Dicks American Legion Post 315.He attended the United Methodist Church.
He retired from the Missouri Highway Department in 1995 after many years of service.
He was preceded in death by three brothers;Albert ,James and Gary;and a sister Marjorie Whipple. He is survived by two brothers,Larry and Maxine Hamilton,Coin,Iowa and Dallas and Rita Hamilton,Burlington Junction; a sister Deloris Argo,New Market,Iowa and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Clearmont,Burial will be at the Clearmont Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Barr-Merrick Funeral Home,Burlington Junction.
