Patsy Matthews was born February 7, 1937 in Pine Springs, Oklahoma, to Clarence and Opal (Satterfield) Dillingham. She passed from this life March 18, 2013, in Antlers, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. Patsy married Baxter Dean Matthews on August 8, 1954, in Darwin, Oklahoma. Together, they raised two children and remained married for 57 years until Dean's passing. Patsy worked at Pushmataha Hospital, 1st National Bank, Burrage Law Firm, and Antlers Public School. She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, and attending Garden Club meetings. Most of all, Patsy loved spending time with her family and friends. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband: Baxter Dean Matthews; parents: Clarence & Opal Dillingham; brother-in-law: Jack Matthews; and sister-in-law: Dora Jane Coggins.
