Funeral services for Jerry D. Easley, 69, of Lindale, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Central Baptist Church in Lindale with the Rev. Byron Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home of Lindale.
Mr. Easley was born Dec. 5, 1943, in Ben Wheeler, the son of the late William and Pauline (Brown) Easley. He passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013, in a Tyler hospital. Mr. Easley lived in Lindale since 1964 and was a member of Central Baptist Church. He retired from Tyler Pipe after 37 years of service.
Mr. Easley is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlcie, of Lindale; daughters, Sherry Strother and husband Craig, of Lindale, Kris Salinas and husband Joe, of Chandler, Amy Mellinger, of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Cameron Strother, of New Chapel Hill, Samantha Strother, of Lindale, Kara Easley and husband Kyle Adams, of Lindale, Joe Salinas Jr., of Chandler, Bailey Salinas, of Chandler and Madison Mellinger, of Corpus Christi.
Pallbearers will be Mike Johnson, Dwight Harris, Mark Reeves, Chuck Barnett, Howard Davis and Ennis Bynum.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Strother, Joe Salinas Jr. and Kyle Adams.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at the funeral home.
