Gattman- Mary Alice Thomas Hollis, 86, died Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Columbus.

Born December 6, 1926, she was the Daughter of the late Troy Lee and Ola Williams Thomas.

She Married Joe P. Hollis June 10, 1944.

Mrs. Hollis grew up in and attended school in Greenwood Springs and attended DePriest Freewill Baptist Church.

Living in Gattman, she served on the Board of Aldermen, and was a Payroll Clerk for Hollis Lumber Company.
A Lady of Great Taste, Mrs. Hollis enjoyed keeping her home neatly kept and decorated.
Mrs. Hollis was very talented in the Artistry of Ceramics.
She also enjoyed time spent with her Daughter and Granddaughter.

She is survived by her Daughter, Carol Eidson and Husband, Bob, Columbus; Granddaughter, Holly Jo Eidson English and Husband, Chad, Aberdeen; Sister In Law, Mary Thomas, Greenwood Springs; Niece, Janette West, Bartahatchie; Nephew, Eddie Thomas, Amory; and several Great Nieces and Nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband of 60 years, Mrs. Hollis is predeceded in death by her brother Carl Thomas.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 20 at 2 P.M. at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home with Bro. Nick Cannady and Bro. Bud Jr. Glass Officiating.
Burial will follow in Haughton Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Dan West, Eddie Thomas,, Tookey Robertson, Chad English, Danny Scott and Coy Lee Flynn, Jr.

Visitation will be Prior to the Service on Wednesday, from 12:45 P.M. - 1:45 P.M.
