Bessie Lee Scott, 80, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away March 15, 2013. Bessie was a member of Trinity Baptist Church; The Peace Makers Sunday School Class and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from Con Agra after 34 years of service. Bessie leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Hollis Scott, Jr.; daughters Sharon McEachern, Kay Hope (John); son Michael Scott (Janice); sister, Sue McEnany (Phil); six grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James "Jr." Hatch, Raymond Hatch and grandson Joey McEachern. Bessie was a loving wife, companion and best friend and she will be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19 from 12 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at Memphis Funeral on Poplar Avenue.
