The many friends of Miss Eva Deaton, daughter of Mrs. Riley Deaton, will be grieved to learn of her death at 7 o'clock Tuesday morning at the family home on North Dixon street. The young lady had been in ill health for about a year, but her death came suddenly. She would have been 15 years old next Saturday and had been making plans for her birthday.
Eva was a frail flower, sweet and retiring, whom to know was to love. She led a quiet and studious life and was an inseparable companion to her mother. Miss Deaton is survived by her mother, and brother, Travis.
