She was a daughter of John & Mary (LEE) LEE.

She was born in 1790 sometime between 6 September & 9 October.

She was married to Thomas CANNON on __ _____ 1806 or '07 by John GORE Esq., J.P. in Overton Co., TN.

She died sometime between 20 May 1873 & 1 June 1879, but I'm assuming it was about 1877 -(the 12 OCT. 1877 date some researchers are using is the exact "verified" death date of Martha's sister Sarah, wife of David STEWART).

Thomas CANNON was born about 1776 in VA., died 24 OCT. 1863 or '64 in Overton Co., TN. and served from 12 Oct. 1814 to 20 Apr. 1815 as a Pvt. in Capt. James Turner's Company of Overton Co., TN. Militia under 1st. Major William Woodfolk's Seperate Battalion of West TN. Militia, Brig.-Gen. Thomas Johnson's Brigade, Maj.-Gen. Andrew Jackson's 2nd Division, War of 1812.
