He was born April 7, 1916 in Waukesha, Wisconsin the oldest of six children.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elaine, sons Robert, James, Lawrence and Jeffrey, daughter Noreen, seven granchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also by one brother, Cyril (Bud) and three sisters, Delores, Jean and Magdalene.
He was an Air Force veteran and held a wide variety of occupations.
His most loved pastimes were working on his model railroad and riding his three-wheeled bicycle.
A celebration of his life will be held at Scottsdale Congregational United Church of Christ, 4425 N. Granite Reef Rd. on Friday, May 21st, at 5:30 p.m. with reception following.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Scottsdale Firefighters Charities, 3370 N. Hayden Road, #123-521, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
