Mrs. Lidia Clark, died at her home No. 104 West South street at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, of paralysis of the brain, age seventy-six years, nine months and seventeen days.
Funeral services will be held at the First M.E. Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. M.A. Farr officiating.
Mrs. Clark was born in Warren county, Ohio January 14th, 1817; was married to Hansen E. Clark, July 10, 1836; moved to Shelby county in 1841 and to Shelbyville in 1847.
She was the mother of eight children, two of whom, Richard M. and Hansen L. are living. Her husband died several years ago. Mrs. Clark was known by all the older residents of Shelbyville and was loved and respected by all.
Interment in City Cemetery by Cummins & Edwards.
