Mrs. Wilson was born in Fayette County, Alabama on Sunday, March 28, 1937, to the late Rufus and Eula Espy Smith. She was a retired employee of United Technologies and was a certified cosmetologist.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lavader Skelton; and her brothers, Rayburn Smith and Wade Smith.
Survivors include her daughters, Scarlet Fleming, Steens, MS and Lorna Shirah, Steens, MS; sons, Mark Miller (Rachel), Tupelo, MS and John Fields (Amanda), Columbus, MS; sister, Martha Fairlene Livingston, Northport, AL; brothers, Bobby Smith, Fayette, AL and Raymond Smith, Fayette, AL; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
