Opal Lucille Morris went to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was born in Corsicana, TX on October 29, 1922 to Lewis and Estelle Pyle. She attended high school in Union Grove. She lived her life in Abilene, Midland and Post, TX. She retired from Texas Instruments.
She was preceded in death by her husband, JH "Sweety" Morris; brother, Lester Pyle; sisters, Jo Ellen Alexander and Ruby Evert.
She is survived by daughter, Phyllis Dorinda Brooks; son Terry Allen Morris; brother, Lloyd Pyle; sisters, Odessa Hughes and Jewell Foster; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at 4:00, Sunday, March 17 at American Heritage Chapel. The family will receive visitors at 2715 WCR 116 in Midland. Graveside service will be held at 4:00 on Monday, March 18 at Sipe Springs Cemetery near Rising Star.
