BOWERS, Terry Allen (Age 61)

A lifelong resident of the Spokane area passed away October 9, 2007. Terry was born September 28, 1946 to LeRoy and Violet (McCalvary) Bowers both now deceased.

He is survived by three daughters Michelle Perkins of Auburn, WA, Sharon Reid of East Bridgewater, MA, and Christina Clark of Elk, WA; one son Nathan Burgess of Lacey, WA; four stepchildren Lloyd, Teresa, Lorie and Timothy Clark; two sisters Donna Froelich, and Karen Prideaux; one brother Norman Bowers; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; his first wife Patricia Aubrey; his companion for the past twenty years Barbara Bowers; and stepfather Floyd Thon.

Terry graduated from North Central High School and proudly served with the U.S. Army.

Following his military service he moved back to Spokane and worked for Columbia Lighting for 23 years. He was a man always ready to help others in any way he was able. A gifted mechanic he enjoyed camping, the countryside, and motorcycle trips on the weekends.

A visitation will take place Thursday, October 11, 2007 from noon until 8:00 pm at the Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA with a funeral service taking place in the Colonial Chapel at the funeral home on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:00 am with Dr. Barry Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Ford Cemetery with full Military Honors. Arrangements are under the direction of HAZEN AND JAEGER VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, SPOKANE VALLEY, WA.
