Mary Maxine Blevins, 75, Kansas City, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2000, at home with loved ones caring for her. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2000, at Ward Parkway Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 8, at City Cemetery, McPherson, KS. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 6, at Muehlebach Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Blevins was born in McPherson, KS. She was a cashier at Euston Hardware. She was a member of Ward Parkway Presbyterian Church and the Plaza Singles Square Dance Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jes C. Blevins, in 1981. She is survived by her sons, Steven L. Blevins of Santa Maria, CA, Daniel L. Blevins, Bradley Blevins, and Brian L. Blevins, all of Kansas City, MO; brother, Leslie Ganson of Vergennes, VT; sisters, Lois Koffel of Lake Placid, FL, Helen Finney of Edmond, OK, Marjorie Arnold of Valley Center, KS, and Shirley Cain of Valley Center, KS; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
