Selma Fisher, age 80, of Bryan, passed away, Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at the Hillside Country Living, Bryan, where she had been a resident. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Montpelier, the Methodist Church of Greater Pine Island of St. James City, Florida and the Twice Ten Study Group in Montpelier. Born on April 16, 1925 in Bryan, Ohio, she was the daughter of Wilda (Meyer) and Frank Stoy, she was a 1942 graduate of Bryan high School and married Warren G. Fisher, July 20, 1943 in Chicago, IL and he survives. Along with her husband Warren, Mrs. Fisher is survived by two sons, Douglas (Gloria) Fisher of St. James City, Florida and Richard (Stella) Fisher of Costa Rico, six grandchildren, Jennifer Fisher of Irvine, CA, Stephanie Fisher and Logan Fisher of Tampa, FL, Linsey Fisher of Naples, FL and Selma Fisher and Josette Fisher of Costa Rico; and two great grandchildren, Forrest Fisher of San Diego, CA and Mia Young of Tampa, FL. Her parents, and four sisters, Evelyn Wannamacher, Nonie McCamis, Marjorie Peltz and Edna Murphy, preceded Mrs. Fisher in death. Services for Selma Fisher will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at the Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan, with the Rev. Marlene LaChat officiating. Burial will follow at the Brown Cemetery, Bryan.
