Howard Charles Mosher 1926 ~ 2007 To the greatest dad ever, our dad, Howard Charles Mosher, who we loved and adored, passed away at age 81 on Wed., May 2, 2007 with his family surrounding him. Howard was born on January 14, 1926 in Salt Lake County to Fred Amos Mosher and Alta Boyce Mosher. He married his sweetheart, Connie Watts in the Salt Lake Temple, September 3, 1952. Survived by his wife, Connie; four loving children, Kyle (Meredith); Cinda Richards (Michael); Josie Mosher; Lisa Anderson (Doug); sister, Lafern Green (Mark); six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who brought him much joy. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Amos and Leo. Dad served as Granite High School Student Body President for two consecutive years. He also held a State Track record for many years. Howard served his country proudly as a Merchant Marine with an honorable discharge. He served as the Upton Ward Bishop and held numerous other positions in the LDS Church. One of dad's greatest loves and pleasures was raising and riding his horses, most recently, his Missouri Fox Trotters. As a family, we wish to express our thanks and appreciation to Dr. Kurt Francis, Dr. Kurrus and Dr. Shockey, as well as the staff on the third floor of St. Marks Hospital for their kind and compassionate care of dad. Thanks Dad for your love and kindness, your great sense of humor and most of all, for being the best dad, grandfather and husband that we could ever have. We will miss you! Farewell my love, until we meet again. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, May 7, 2007 at the Wanship Ward, Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. at the Wanship Ward on Sunday, May 6, 2007 and one hour prior to the funeral service.
