STONES and INSCRIPTIONS
Ten stones (6 of them footstones), and 2 military memorials adorn this lot.
There are 4 footstones in front of the obelisk: Anne, Father (William), Mother (Jane), and Thomas; and 2 behind it: Catharine, Ivy. All but Ivy have inscriptions on the obelisk. There is no other mention of Ivy Forbes on this lot.
[NOTE: William S Forbes (interred 1880) is not memorialized here by any currently visible or legible stone or inscription. A list of lot residents, with burial dates, appears after the inscriptions.]
***The 2 small stones, far right, front row are inscribed on both sides.
Front of stone at left: Robert. Rear: Robert McLeod Forbes Died Sept. 17, 1849 aged 16 months & 12 days.
Front of stone at right: Augustus. Rear: Augustus Henry Forbes Died Feb. 2, 1848 aged 17 months & 2 days
