RITES FOR R.S. STANLEY
ARE SET FOR TOMORROW.

R.S. (Pete) Stanley, 32, formerly a Fresno welder, who was fatally burned near Wheeler Ridge, on the Golden State Highway late Monday night after his coupe collided with a truck, will be buried tomorrow in the Belmont Memorial Park following funeral services at 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Friends disclosed yesterday that Stanley, a native of Arkansas and resident of Fresno for five years, had a varied career as a soldier of fortune; having served with the rebel forces in Mexico while a younger man. He was, for some time, a Colonel and an aviator in the revolutionary forces.

He leaves a widow, Mrs Myrtle Stanley, of Fresno; his father, O.A. Stanley; a sister, Mary Jo Stanley; and three brothers, Gordon G., Harold R., and Tumbler B., all of Levy, Ark.
