THOMSEN - Mabel A. (nee Kowsky) Thomsen, of Tonawanda, Sunday (December 29, 1985) in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. A lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, she was the sister of the late LeVant Kowsky, Elizabeth Umland, Pauline Fick and Ethel Millar. Mrs. Thomsen was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, WYCA of the Tonawandas, Tonawanda Senior Citizens and was active for many years with Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her husband, Leo S. Thomsen; a daughter, Mrs. Penne A. Kearly of Tonawanda; two sons, William (Bonnie) Gray of Fresno, Ca., and Mark (Terri) Gray of Warren, Ohio; a brother, Edward (Norma) Fick of the Town of Tonawanda; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday evening from 7-9 at John O. Roth Funeral Home Inc., Morgan and William Streets, Tonawanda where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Robert L. Rickus. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
